About Me
My name is Sasha Johnson, and I’ve been studying German since 2001. I’m a graduate student at the University of Oklahoma, where I teach beginning German and study the language, literature and culture of the German-speaking people. This past summer (2007), I spent seven weeks hiking in Switzerland with my husband. In the summer of 2005 I spent time in Switzerland and took a summer course at the Technical University in Braunschweig, Germany. I spent much of the summer of 2006 translating botanical articles from German into English. Currently I’m working on developing ideas for using internet podcasting in introductory German classes and completing graduate coursework towards a Master’s degree in German.
If you’re one of my students, please feel free to email me, come by my office hours anytime. If my hours are inconvenient for you, let’s schedule a better time to meet.
